It's so unfortunate that Facebook insists on forcing these to go as “updates” instead of to the true inbox. Majority of Facebook users dont even know they HAVE an updates section. Glad you are spreading the news also!

This is sound advise Justin and yes, a very handy tip. People are checking their facebook and messages stand out. It makes sense especially for those connected to several Fan Pages that they might be less likely to remember to check you out often enough if never tagged with an enticing update. Thanks!
